It’s no secret that not too long ago, Phoenix was just a desert. Today, that can become solidified as a reality when you run into some WILD life running around Scottsdale. That’s right. There have plenty of coyote sightings in the Scottsdale area. I’m not just talking about one coyote but packs of them running around Scottsdale. So, be careful.

Here are some tips to protect your home and pets:

  • If you see Coyotes running around your neighborhood, it might be a good idea to keep your small dog inside and watch them when they go out.
  • Large dogs usually can protect themselves. Unfortunately, packs of coyotes can gang up and surround larger animals.
  • You will usually tend to see Coyotes more in the winter.
  • They like your trash!
  • Coyotes are scared of people unless you get them into a corner.

Thanks for reading and good luck if you run into any Coyotes.

Sincerely,

Jeff Buettner
